Humans do not live by instincts, like animals.
We have will…
… and make choice after choice, day in day out.
These choices gradually form our character, what we are known for, and our world.
Our character is within and abstract, but gets acted out in instances that may last only few seconds, which speak loud and clear about what one stands for.
It could be a bit tricky, especially when we strive to showcase a different entity from who we really are within. This gap leaves us feeling empty and unfulfilled, because the height of deceit is self- deceit.
Sometimes we think that life is not fair to us (may be in situations we cannot control the outcome), but fundamentally life gives us back what we have given …
…what we sow we reap.
This is quite important, and this is why I have revisited this severally.
When we make daily choices, we are basically sowing seeds that will germinate, grow, mature and ripe for harvest in future.
Therefore, we need to be mindful of our choices…
… we simply cannot separate the choices we make and the results we get.
They are tightly linked.
Yes sometimes life takes us through different routes, but the nature of the harvest is not different from the seeds sown.
I would like to encourage us to imprint this on our brain and mind – our outcomes are usually products of our choices…
… since it’s what we choose (decide on) that we act on.
The problem of the world right now is not accessing information, but more about getting the right information, and then committing to put them to use.
If you want to enhance any area of your life, watch the daily choices you make in that regards…
… your results will always resemble your choices.
Whenever we commit to investing in making empowering choices, we expect corresponding dividends…
…make the right deposits first, and other fulfilling results will follow.
I am not saying that it will be a simple walkover, because it will task your discipline ability.
Just make it simple…
… do something you know you should be doing now, although you don’t feel like doing it.
Keep on practicing, and you will get better at it sooner than you know it.
It’s never too late to start working on any area of our life.
– Consider today a great day to start.
I love human nature, because we can learn to do anything we put our minds to.
Try to give more consideration to later outcome of your choices, than the immediate outcome or comfort.
The rule of the thumb – Is my choice good, useful, healthy and sustainable for me and others, now and in future?
Practicing more of this will definitely transform our lives, and make the world a much better place for everyone.
Be more choosy with your choices, and live your best life.
Happy Easter!
